The IBOS Association is an international banking alliance, whose members are major commercial banks.
There is no such thing as a truly Global Bank – a bank that is able to meet all of its customers’ demands in all countries. Usually, a “Global Bank” has a full service set in a few countries, and a more superficial capability in several others.
What this means is that businesses who rely on effective and thorough cash management across multiple global regions can not necessarily depend on their bank to provide that service on its own.
That’s why IBOS was created: to create an international alliance of the major banks to enable them to share each other’s services and provide international clients with the full range of local banking support they need.
Through IBOS, global business is able to work locally.
