IBOS member Banco Santander Totta, Portugal, has been awarded Best International Business Bank, Trade Finance, in Portugal by Euromoney in 2020.
The Award highlights the partnership that the Bank has established with Portuguese companies, offering efficient and safe solutions in foreign trade, as well as the support provided for its internationalisation in foreign markets.
Santander Portugal’s recognition is done on the Market Leader strand and the Best Service strand. It should be highlighted:
a) Santander Portugal’s solid growth in trade finance in recent years, with sustained growth in its market share (market leader);
(b) The service provided by the Bank’s teams in the implementation of export support financial operations, through a best service;
c) The offer of a partnership to support companies in the knowledge of new markets and business partners through innovative solutions. Highlighting the offer of the Santander Trade portal that allows the exclusive entry of Portuguese companies in the Trade Club Alliance; and
(d) The exhaustive work of the Santander International Desk platform that helps Portuguese companies establish themselves in new markets, in particular in the countries where the Santander Group has a presence.
